Direction makes a difference

A route working one way doesn’t mean the reverse is supported.

No vault uploads. No passwords. Just a clearer next step.

A SMALL DISTINCTION. A BIG DIFFERENCE.

Passwords can travel in a file.
Passkeys need a different path.

A CSV export can move passwords. It doesn’t carry your passkeys. Credential Exchange lets participating apps transfer supported items directly.

Does Passkey Atlas move my passkeys?

No. The finder explains documented routes. Actual transfers happen within your official password-manager apps and operating system. You never need to give this site a password, passkey or vault file.

What does “documented” actually mean?

Official provider documentation describes this route and your selected OS meets the reviewed requirements. We have not tested these transfers on physical devices. Account policies, app versions and item types may still affect the outcome.

Can I delete my old manager after transferring?

First verify the expected items arrived and test fresh sign-ins at important services. Preserve your old access and recovery options until you are satisfied the new setup works. An item count alone is not enough.

Why does the finder sometimes say “not verified”?

Some directions lack specific evidence, or the chosen setup is outside this finder’s coverage. Not verified does not mean impossible. Check current provider guidance for that exact direction.

Does this cover moving to a new phone?

This finder focuses on changing password managers. Syncing the same provider to a new device is a different process, and hardware-bound passkeys may require separate handling at the service where you created them.

Your next manager starts with a clear route.

Take a minute to check. Keep control of your way in.
